It’s time to celebrate Independence Day, but as experts get ready for one of the most popular fireworks displays in the country, tens of thousands of people are expected to flock to the lake for the patriotic show of lights sparking over the glimmering waters of Lake Tahoe.

The “Lights on the Lake” firework show is expected to last 25 and will start at 9:45 p.m. Satrurday. Organizers will offer the Fireworks by Grucci app for mobile phones, which will allow users to listen to synchronized music with the show.
