Letter: ‘I call it the Loop Hole’

I am sick and tired of the people in this town who want it to be like every other mountain resort. This is the most varied resort in the state — you can fish, gamble, hike, bike and every winter sport you can think of all in one place. But there are people who want it just like Vail.

I have visited here for years and finally purchased a home some 27 years ago. Every time they try to change it, it has been a disaster.

I like it just the way it is — a mix of new and old. There is no other place like it. Just last week there was a bear walking down the street in front of my home; this morning it was a coyote.

Loop road … you would think that they would learn.

Let the people vote on it.

Please do not destroy the last resort in the state.

I call it the Loop Hole.
