Burglary suspect arrested

A 21-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested early Thursday in connection with three commercial burglaries.

Douglas County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ron Elges arrested Lee Lawson at about 4:40 a.m.

Lawson is the suspect in a Sunday burglary at Minden Meat and Deli. He is also the suspect in burglaries at Lentine’s Restaurant and El Aguila Restaurant.

Forced entry was found at all three locations and cash was stolen.

Lawson was booked into the Douglas County Jail on preliminary charges of burglary, possession of burglary tools and possession of stolen property. His bail is set at $28,146.
