Unity at the Lake announces Satsang Sunday, 5-6 p.m. Sunday (and the last Sunday of each month), at 1195 Rufus Allen Blvd, across from the Recreation Center.
Satsang is Sanskrit for “Gathering for Truth.” Join Rev. Hillary Bittman for an informal celebration of how special we are to each other. It consists of a universal spiritual teaching, a meditation to support it, and a question and answer period. Love offerings are accepted. This month will be light-hearted with some “laughing yoga.” This could be a beautiful addition to your Sunday or an alternative for those who missed the morning service or might prefer a less formal experience. For more information, call 544-2266 or visit www.unityatthelake.org.
Women’s group plan Passover craft
Celebrate the Passover in an exciting, fun and meaningful way, with the Jewish Women’s Circle at 7:15 p.m. April 3 at the Chabad Jewish Center.
Shaina Richler will show the ladies how to paint a beautiful cup of Elijah to present on Passover, give as a hostess gift, display, or use on the Passover table.
The Jewish Women’s circle is designed for the contemporary Jewish woman with the goal of uniting all Jewish women in the Lake Tahoe area through exciting events and activities.
Jewish Women’s Circle provides an opportunity to bring together women with divergent points of view, backgrounds and affiliations in an atmosphere of friendship. Together they explore Jewish themes and work together to create and enhance community projects.
The suggested donation for this event is $10. Please RSVP by calling 530-314-7677 or email Shaina@JewishTahoe.com.
