CTeen, a new club for Jewish teens, will host its first meeting on Nov. 30.
The club aims to combat society’s struggle with the “terrible teens.” according to a press release. It seeks to empower youth to maximize their potential by offering programs to bring teens together, learning about themselves, and giving back to their communities.
CTeen teaches teens critical leadership skills, putting power in the hands of the teens themselves, club founder Rabbi Mordey Richler stated in the release. Through brainstorming, delegating, and executing, teens will create and implement community service initiatives, charity fundraisers, local and national trips, he said.
