Lanes reopened on U.S. 50 after Zephyr Cove wreck

A three-vehicle wreck on U.S. 50 near Zephyr Cove snarled traffic Monday morning.

Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Dave Gibson said crews reopened all lanes of the highway as of about 8:30 a.m. But he cautioned traffic may still be moving slow through the area because it was backed up for so long.

The incident remains under investigation. One person was transported to Renown Medical Center in Reno with serious injuries, according to Gibson.
