Four-year-old Mason Allen Geist died February 24, 2013 as the result of a tragic accident.
Mason was the treasured son of Tahoe resident Tiffany Rice, and Gardnerville resident, Robert Geist. He was his mom’s best buddy, and his dad’s right-hand little man; a preschooler who had been working on cars and playing in the dirt since infancy.
Mason was handsome and charming beyond his years, a brown-eyed heart-breaker in the making. He was cheerful and kind; rosy-cheeked, and quick to smile.
He loved all things boy: Legos, trucks, mischief, and dirt bikes. A long time
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan, he realized the dream of meeting Mickey and visiting Cars Land at Disneyland this past year. He loved Spiderman, Superman, Hulk, and most of all, Batman. Taken much too early, he will live on in the hearts of his family and friends as our own personal four-year old superhero.
He is also survived by maternal grandparents John and Ginger Rice, and paternal grandparents, Jeff Mack and Edith Landwehr.
The Memorial Service is this Sunday, March 3rd at 2:00 pm at Walton’s Funeral Home: 1521 Church St., Gardnerville, NV 98410. A reception following the service (approximately 5:00 PM) will take place at the home of John and Ginger Rice:
