January 21, 1963 – April 27, 2014
Victoria came into this world January 21, 1963 in Tacoma, WA. to Loretta and Richard Stromberg. They moved to South Lake Tahoe in 1968 where she grew up and went to school graduating from South Tahoe High in 1981. Victoria continued her residence in South Lake Tahoe for 44 years until she moved to Carson City, NV in 2012, where she lived the rest of her life. Known as “Vicki” to some and “Tori” to others, we said goodbye to her on April 27, 2014 after a long illness. Victoria was known for her love of family, friends, a good party, Karaoke, bowling, racing, scary movies, and of course her many rings and jewelry.
Victoria is survived by her loving soul mate of 33 years, Mike Montoya, Daughter Shauntall Shallmain, grand children Lawrence Michael, Kenny Joseph, Teagan William, and Charish Virginia, her mother Loretta and Step father Don Landry of Phoenix, AZ, brothers Richard (Chic) Stromberg of Culver City, CA, and Andrew Stromberg of Seattle, WA, 6 nieces and nephews as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Victoria touched so many hearts; she loved and was loved by many people. Her laugh and smile will be missed.
In memory of Victoria, a celebration of life and a pot luck barbecue will be held, July 19th, 2014, on Camp Richardson Beach at 12:00pm. Hamburgers and Hot dogs will be provided, please contact Mike Montoya at 775-434-4463, to RSVP and share your contribution information for the pot luck.
