Obituary: Steven Russell Weber

10/6/1958 - 4/6/2013

Loving Brother, Uncle and Friend entered into rest on Saturday, April 6, 2013.

He was born in Seattle, Washington on October 6, 1958 to Al and Dorothy Weber. He was the youngest of 5 children. When Steve was 5 years old, the family moved to Antioch, California where he spent his childhood and graduated from Antioch High School in 1977.

Steve worked as a printing press technician in Pittsburgh, Ca for approximately 20 years before moving and making his home in South Lake Tahoe, in 2003, where he became a Photo Lab Manager for Longs Drug Store/CVS Pharmacy.

Steve leaves behind his Brothers Douglas Weber, of Sunnyside, Washington, Christian Weber, of Selah, Washington, and Sisters Barbara Kallman of Pioneer, California and Peggy Giovanni of South Lake Tahoe. California.

He is also leaves behind his nieces, nephews and their children, who know him as Uncle Cheese: Jim Weber, Jenna Curtsinger, Paul Langston, Monica Langston, Derek Giovanni and Bernice Mateu .

Steve will be missed by his dogs, Daisy and Buddy known as his children and was reunited with Cody his dog of 14 years.

Steve had a love for the outdoors, where he loved to hike, snowshoe, camp, and work in his yard.

Steve was known for his kindness, generosity and willingness to help others, especially assisting his neighbors with any of their projects in the neighborhood. He was known for his humble and cheerful demeanor. He will be remembered for his friendly smile and contagious laughter by his family, neighbors and co-workers.
