On the Hill: The Blue Bird days are back at Heavenly

On the Hill, brought to you by the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics, brings you a video report showcasing Tahoe's ski conditions every day.

Breakdown: Join Tahoe 'On the Hill' reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down Upper Mombo at Heavenly. Get ready to enjoy another beautiful blue bird day above the lake at Heavenly this morning. In the morning conditions have been slightly hard, but soften up once the suns hits them. Mott Canyon, Killebrew Canyon, Groove Terrain Park, and Epic Mix Racing are all scheduled to open at 10 a.m. this morning. Currently no lifts are on wind hold.

Heavenly official report: 0" overnight

Field report: No new snow, unfortunately. Groomers still dominate.

Weather: Sunny and a predicted high today of 39 degrees.

Liftline status: No crowds this morning, but that is likely to change around 11 a.m.

Snowcast: No snow in the forecast.
