Breakdown: Join Tahoe Daily Tribune reporter Brian Hamilton for a run down California Trail at Heavenly. Heavenly received a trace of snow last night, and 3 inches in the last 48 hours. Over the weekend they received 20 inches of new snow. CA Trail is the groomer pick of the day on the NV side, and High Roller is the pick of the day on the CA side.
Heavenly official report: A trace in the past 24 hours.
Field report: Nice groomed conditions with some soft stashes left over.
Weather: Cloudy and currently 35 degrees. Thicker clouds are starting to roll in as this next front comes.
Liftline status: No crowds and no lines.
Snowcast: Snow is predicted tonight. The initial snow levels will be around 9000ft but then drop to 7000ft during the night. A few inches are possible.
