Sierra-at-Tahoe won’t increase season pass prices for 2015-16
Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort on Lake Tahoe’s South Shore is focused on providing the ultimate value for skiers and snowboarders. And that won’t change for the 2015-16 season.
Consistent with the previous season pass price of $289, guests who purchase a 2015-16 Keepin’ It Real Unlimited Season Pass before May 7 will receive unlimited access to the slopes seven days a week all season long. Additional benefits include:
Four $50 BFF lift tickets (renewing 2014-15 passholders will receive six BFF tickets)
Four free “bring-a-friend” days
Four free days at Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows
Three free days at 12 other Powder Alliance partner resorts, including Crested Butte, Snowbasin, Stevens Pass, Timberline, Schweitzer, China Peak, Mountain High, Arizona Snowbowl, Mt. Hood Skibowl, Angel Fire Resort, Bridger Bowl and Silver Star Mountain Resort in B.C., Canada
Renewing 2014-15 passholders will receive 200 My Sierra Reward points
“We are thrilled to provide great Tahoe value for skiers and riders who want to experience an authentic mountain which has served as a training ground for world-class athletes and fosters a revered employee culture that translates into an exceptional guest experience,” said Sierra-at-Tahoe General Manager John Rice. “We invite all to join our Sierra Family and enjoy our laid-back vibe that embodies the California skiing and riding experience.”
Sierra-at-Tahoe is consistently ranked best value with 2,000 acres of skiable terrain, wind-protected slopes, nationally-recognized terrain parks, 11 acres of sculpted beginner terrain and 320 acres of backcountry terrain out the Huckleberry Gates. As home to gold medalists Jamie Anderson, Maddie Bowman and Hannah Teter, Sierra offers something for every style of skier and rider.
Guests can further enhance their skiing and snowboarding season with 20 percent off food and retail through My Sierra Rewards — all season passholders are automatically enrolled in tier one of the program — or by adding the Fast Pass option to their season pass to skip lift lines and maximize on-mountain time. Sierra-at-Tahoe is the closest resort to Sacramento and located only 12 miles from the nightlife in South Lake Tahoe, and embraces skiers and snowboarders who want to escape from everyday life and enjoy the simple pleasure of winter in the mountains.
For beginner skiers and riders, Sierra Resort is the place to learn to ski or ride in Lake Tahoe. It is home to the world’s only Burton Star Wars Experience, has over 100 acres of dedicated terrain, four beginner-only conveyor lifts, a $45 adult beginner package and PSIA-certified instructors.
For freestylers, a commitment to innovative terrain parks has led to Sierra Resort being recognized by TransWorld SNOWboarding as the No. 1 Best Value and a Top 10 Overall Resort as well as among the Top 10 Best Parks and Pipes in the nation.
