The Vikings threw three pitchers in the opener against the Vaqueros, and Pfister picked up the win with a scoreless inning of relief. Quentin Marullo allowed seven runs (four earned) over 5.0 innings with seven strikeouts, and Ben Bushrow struck out two in an inning of relief.

South Tahoe lost the second game of the twinbill against Fernley 9-3. The Vikings were held to five hits in their second home defeat of the season.
