Jeannette Eileen Taylor, age 71, died March 17, 2013 at 2am with daughters and family at her side.
Memorial Service, Thursday, March 21st, 2:00 p.m. at Lake Tahoe Christian Fellowship, 3580 Blackwood Rd, South Lake Tahoe.
Jeannette was born January 22, 1942 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Jeannette’s family moved to San Francisco, California in February of 1955. She was twelve years old at the time. She went to school, made life long friends and meet her husband to be Howard K. Taylor, a Navy man. She married Howard at the age of nineteen years old. They were married for fourteen years and had three wonderful children.
Jeannette lived most of her life in California. She finally put her roots down in South Lake Tahoe. She loved living near her daughter Debra and all her grandkids and great grandkids. But, she always dreamed of moving back home to San Francisco. She faced a lot of health challenges, yet, through it all she trusted Jesus her Lord and Savior. Jeannette was a strong and brave women, full of love and life. She had numerous hobbies: knitting, crochet, gardening, reading, baking and cooking.
Jeannette is survived by her daughters, Debra and husband Bob Hoyopatubbi and Rhonda Rupp. Grandchildren: Bobby Hoyopatubbi and wife Erica; Amber Hoyopatubbi; Rhiannon Hoyopatubbi; David and wife Amanda Rupp. Great Grandchildren: Bobby J. Kane, Kyla, Anakin, Jayvyn, Bailey, Caleb, Noah, Gracie Rupp; and sister Mary Deardorff, niece Brenda and nephew Tracy, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Christian K. Taylor, Mother, Father and Brothers, and many close friends.
We will all miss her beautiful smile and everything about her!
