On the Hill: Mountain biking the Powerline Trail

On the Hill Summer, brought to you by The Steadman Clinic and the Steadman Philippon Research Institute, brings you a video report about a different Lake Tahoe adventure every day.

Today's activity: Mountain biking the Powerline Trail.

Conditions: The Powerline Trail is one of Tahoe's best intermediate trails. It starts as a swoopy singletrack, then gradually becomes a dirt road. Michelle takes us from the top of Ski Run Blvd, just off Saddle Road, about 7 miles to Oneidas.

Today's weather: Almost a carbon copy of yesterday's weather. Today peaks at 85 degrees with really light winds. Rest of the week follows suit, with temps in the 80s. Summer's here; get out and enjoy the holiday weekend. — National Weather Service
