South Tahoe tennis | Vikings start winning streak

South Tahoe tennis picked up where it left off.

Both the boys and girls teams added another win on Tuesday in their second Northern Division IA match of the season. Both teams beat Damonte Ranch 11-7, the girls on the road and the boys at home.

No. 1 girls singles player, Maggie Lee, won two games 6-1 and 6-0. Kylee Lyons also picked up two wins with a 6-1 game and 7-6 tiebreaker. Lissie Steward added a 6-4 win.

South Tahoe again looked strong on the doubles front.

Grace Bronken and Sarah Jobbins went undefeated. The dynamic duo won their first game 6-4, second game 6-3 and final game 6-2.

Catherine Baghdikian and Natalie Allen also went undefeated with 6-3 and 6-2 wins. Baghdikian teamed up with Kayla Lyons to pull off a 7-6 tiebreaker win in the second set of games.
