What do you sell/provide?
Summit Sports Acupuncture specializes in treating sports injuries, acute and chronic pain, and musculoskeletal injuries. Combining traditional therapeutic methods combined with postural assessment, exercise rehabilitation, qigong, and mobility coaching maximum results are achieved.
How long have you been in business?
Jared Andersen, M.S., L.Ac., C.SMA. has been in practice since 2006 and recently moved to Truckee to open Summit Sports Acupuncture.
What do you enjoy most about operating a business in the Tahoe area?
The fresh air, athletic and health conscious people, endless mountain activities and amazing weather.
How has your business evolved over the years?
Summit Sports Acupuncture represents an evolution over 11 years. I have chosen to specialize in a very particular aspect of medicine which I am extremely passionate about. I stopped being a one-stop-shop for all sorts of ailments and got very focused on musculoskeletal injuries.
Are there any new and exciting changes to report?
Yes! The new clinic is officially open May 1! We are located at The Rock in building C, suite 209. Visit http://www.summitsportsacupuncture.com for more information. We will be offering Luohan Qigong classes, mobility lab classes, Ashtanga yoga, and community treatment days.
