California Honeydrops offer workshop

Students in seventh-12th grade and adults interested in vocal music, songwriting and starting in the music business are encouraged to register for the Oct. 24 music workshop from 2:30-4 p.m. at CVIC Hall in Minden.

This 90-minute workshop with the California Honeydrops includes getting started in professional music, songwriting, homemade instruments and interactive elements.

“Their high energy, powerful vocals with a conversational intimacy and humor hark back to the golden age of soul and country music,” organizers said.

Pre-Registration is required for the music workshop. It is $10 for students or $40 for adults. Workshop registration includes a concert ticket for the 7 p.m. show that day at CVIC Hall.
