If you’re looking for a concert that can’t be dialed into one particular genre, head to Stateline for Common Kings’ performance on Wednesday, March 8.

“Their crazy, fun-loving attitude complements Common Kings’ live sound, producing phenomenal pop hits with rock, reggae and R&B influences,” states the band’s biography.

The four-member ensemble is inspired by artists such as Van Morrison, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley and more.

“Where everything comes to a point is through lead singer Sasualei ‘Jr. King’ Maliga. Jr. King is perhaps one of the most powerfully impressive vocalists amongst today’s leading artists. Born with untrained, raw talent, Jr. King’s singing ability seems boundless, as he amazes listeners with a wide range of belting notes and soulful passion,” continues the bio.

Common Kings recently toured with pop artist Meghan Trainor and has also hit the road with Justin Timberlake, Sean Paul, Fifth Harmony and CeeLo Green. Rock and hip-hop band ¡Mayday! and Makua Rothman will join Common Kings for their South Shore performance.

The groups take the stage at MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa at 10 p.m. Tickets are available in advance for $17.50, and increase to $22 on the day of the performance. Both prices do not include tax or ticket fees.

MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa is located at 55 U.S. 50.
