Adventure sports fans hungry for a taste of the Tahoe Adventure Film Festival can get a sample this Friday, Oct. 23, at Lake Tahoe Community College.

Tahoe Adventure Film Festival will present the 10th year of the Reel Rock Film Tour at Lake Tahoe Community College’s Duke Theatre.

“From big walls to big moves, Reel Rock 10 features athletes Tommy Caldwell, Kevin Jorgeson, Alex Honnold, Jimmy Webb, Daniel Woods and a special tribute to the late Dean Potter,” according to a press release from organizers.

“A first look at Tommy Caldwell and Kevin Jorgeson’s epic final push to free climb the Dawn Wall is exclusively featured in Reel Rock 10. It marked the greatest climbing achievement of a generation and captured the world’s imagination. As the Reel Rock Team works on a major feature film about the event slated for next year, Reel Rock 10 will include an exclusive first look at the drama playing out at the crux of the route.”

Doors open for the showing at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and will be sold at the door.

The Tahoe Adventure Film Festival returns to MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa on Dec. 11.
