Class up your dinner plans with The Loft’s Darcie Kent Winemaker Dinner on Wednesday, April 5, at 6 p.m.

“Each of the five prix fixe courses will be thoughtfully paired with award-winning wines from Darcie Kent Winery located in Livermore, Calif. Attendees will have the chance to meet the owners and discover how this Northern California winery has won the hearts of wine lovers from around the world,” states a press release from The Loft.

Start with bruschetta de carpaccio, paired with a Rava Blackjack Vineyard gruner veltliner, before moving to pan seared sea scallop piccata and chardonnay, pumpkin gnocchi with pancetta and sage asiago cream and a glass of pinot noir.

“The menu has been designed by The Loft’s very own Frank Trotta, certified sommelier and culinary expert, and carefully curated to enhance the tasting experience,” continues the release.

The evening continues with wild boar osso buco and a cabernet sauvignon before concluding with dark chocolate hazelnut torte.

“We’re so fortunate to have the bold collection of Darcie Kent Winery, and showcase their wine paired with our distinctive menu as we both aim for flavors that stand out,” Trotta said.

The Loft is located at 1021 Heavenly Village Way and opens daily at 4 p.m.
