Up-and-coming Orlando-raised DJ Sage Armstrong travels from Los Angeles to put on a one-of-a-kind production this weekend at the intimate South Lake Tahoe lounge known as The Loft.

“Sage Armstrong began making waves in the house music scene with his debut Dirtybird release, ‘What’s Yo Tempetcha?’.

“Grown in the south, he has been influenced by a multitude of different genres that continue to inspire his creative flow in the studio and on stage,” states the artist’s biography.

The part-producer, part-DJ and part-rapper’s mix of inspirations — which include Travis Scott, Metro Boomin and Sango, among others — has culminated in a unique, dancy sound.

“He has created his own style by adding unique elements that give off a vibe of bouncy underground beats with original vocals,” continues the bio.

Armstrong has received support from fellow Dirtybird creatives including Justin Martin and Claude VonStroke, which has pushed him further on his own musical journey.

“With an exciting release schedule and show dates piling up, the future is looking bright for this rising star,” concludes the bio.

Armstrong’s gig (open to guests at least 21 years of age) begins at 10 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16. Fellow artist Nandez will also perform. It’s a show that any fan of house music will not want to miss.

Tickets cost $15 and are available online at http://www.thelofttahoe.com or at the venue’s box office.

The Loft is located at 1001 Heavenly Village Way on Tahoe’s South Shore.
