On Friday, Jan. 19, an all-new Italian film will make its North American premiere at The Loft on Tahoe’s South Shore.

“‘Aeffetto Domino’ is a movie about life and its transformation.

“It’s a story of Lorenzo: Sad news about his state of health will change his existence, causing a domino effect on his life and on the lives of people he loves,” states a press release from The Loft.

The film has won awards (including titles such as Best Picture and Best Actor) at the Ischi Global Fest, Napoli Cultural Classic, Gulf of Naples International Film Festival, Social World Film Festival, Villammare Film Festival, GioCineFest and more.

In addition to the screening of the movie, the writer, director and star — Fabio Massa — will host a Q&A session and meet and greet after the show (roughly 10:30 p.m.).

According to the press release, doors open at 8 p.m. for a “pre-premiere party” in the venue’s lounge before “Aeffetto Domino” begins at 9 p.m. The Loft Lounge will also host a “post-premiere party” at 11 p.m.

This cultural event is free to attend for all ages, but it is recommended to reserve seats ahead of time online at http://www.thelofttahoe.com.

Additional information about the event is available at 530-523-8024 or on the venue’s website.

The Loft is located at 1001 Heavenly Village Way in South Lake Tahoe.
