It’s going to be one heck of a night at Whiskey Dick’s Saloon on Thursday, April 20. Featuring Black Star Safari, Dingo Weasel and Sleeper Cell, this 4/20 Celebration is one stoners everywhere will want to hit.

Sacramento-based duo Black Star Safari features the vocals of both Matthew Mandells and Daniel Green.

“The group’s unique songwriting stems from a variety of sources spanning funk, folk, rock, reggae and many others. Both studied musicians, their diverse musical backgrounds have given them a fresh and unconventional approach to writing, while simultaneously adhering to their pop sensibilities,” states the pair’s online biography.

The lineup continues with Dingo Weasel, a four-member jam rock group that are regulars at the venue.

Rounding out the night is Sleeper Cell, a hard rock band influenced by artists like Korn and Slipknot, and who calls Ohio home.

“The band’s opulent sound is derived from their ‘democratic’ approach to the songwriting process. Each song is a mutually composed composition with each member having an equal percentage share in the piece,” states the band’s Facebook biography.

The loaded gig begins at 9 p.m. with a $10 cover.

Whiskey Dick’s Saloon is located at 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
