The cannabis-fueled rap and rock group Kottonmouth Kings celebrates 20 years at the South Shore this week with a performance at Whiskey Dick’s Saloon Thursday, March 10.

The show is part of the California group’s 20-year anniversary tour. The Kottonmouth Kings released a greatest hits album, “High Standards and Greatest Hits,” in November.

“KMK has become one of the world’s most radical and savagely independent underground musical forces. KMK is fine flying under the radar — the Kings have dug underground tunnels that most people don’t even know exist,” according to the band’s online biography. “KMK is responsible for creating one of the most intense and largest subculture movements in modern times, as well as connected millions of Kings and Kweens worldwide.”

The group has sold more than 4 million records and maintains a dedicated fan base.

Special guests at the show include Marlon Asher, Whitney Peyton and Chucky Chuck.

Doors open to the performance at 9 p.m.

Tickets are available at The Spot in South Lake Tahoe and online at http://www.ticketweb.com.

Whiskey Dick’s Saloon is located at 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd. in South Lake Tahoe.
