South Shore’s Lavish Green is set to close out this year’s Live at Lakeview Summer Music Series.

The final show in this year’s popular music series takes place on the water Thursday at El Dorado Beach’s Lakeview Commons.

Lavish Green, a South Lake Tahoe ska and rock act, recently celebrated 20 years with a high-energy performance at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe’s Vinyl venue opening for alt rock-ska legends Fishbone.

South Shore guitar-and-drums duo Black Star Safari opens Thursday’s show.

The free lakefront performance is set to start at 4:30 p.m. and run until 8:30 p.m.

Lakeview Commons is located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Lakeview Avenue in South Lake Tahoe.

Parking at the event is limited. Live at Lakeview offers a free bike valet service. Free parking is also available at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd.

In March, the South Lake Tahoe City Council signed a five-year contract with On Course Events to continue to produce the weekly summer music series at Lakeview Commons.
