Hard rock band Skid Row brings a new lead singer to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe on Saturday, Sept. 5, at 9 p.m.

Earlier this year, Skid Row announced it was parting ways with longtime vocalist Johnny Solinger, who is reportedly pursuing solo projects.

The vacancy was filled by vocalist Tony Harnell, who previously played with Norwegian band TNT.

Skid Row will play songs from its latest release — “Rise of the Damnation Army,” the second part of its “United World Rebellion” trilogy, as well as cuts from its long history as a band.

“Skid Row released their first full-length album, simply entitled ‘Skid Row,’ in January of 1989 to meteoric sales and widespread critical acclaim, with hit singles ‘18 and Life,’ ‘I Remember You’ and ‘Youth Gone Wild,’ vaulting the debut album to quintuplet platinum sales,” according to a press release for Saturday’s show. “The success continued with their 1991 sophomore effort, ‘Slave to the Grind,’ despite a drastic change in style from ‘80s hair metal to a faster paced, almost speed-metal style of heavy rock.”

The band was expected to be in the studio to record the third chapter of the “United World Rebellion” trilogy this summer.
