East Bay-based punk group United Defiance is set to return to Tahoe’s South Shore for a show that’s sure to have the crowd rocking out on Saturday, Feb. 10.
“United Defiance stands for far more than just the members in the band. Individuality, politics, friends and family — these are some of the things that help drive our influences in music,” states the band’s Facebook biography, which also notes that the group’s style is “fast-pace, high-energy punk rock for the masses.”
In addition to these values, United Defiance also is influenced by other artists including Green Day, Sum 41, Blood For Blood, Pennywise, Flogging Molly and many more.
“We do not see the need for competition with other bands; we raise our fist in support to you all. We have been lucky enough to have played some of the best venues with some of the best bands all over the West Coast,” continues the bio.
United Defiance takes the stage at Whiskey Dick’s Saloon at 9 p.m. and is joined by fellow punk band Dearly Divided.
