What: Lavish Green
When: 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12
Where: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe
Long-standing South Shore rockers Lavish Green returns to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe this week.
The group plays a free show in the casino’s Vinyl venue Friday, Feb. 12. The group performed at Vinyl with rock/ska/punk stalwarts Fishbone last summer. The 20th anniversary performance for Lavish Green attracted an enthusiastic crowd and included a high-energy set list featuring plenty of rock- and reggae-influenced songs from the more than two-decades-old band.
“Living life and creating honest music for over 20 years, we continue to grind away and work hard to bring entertainment to a wide range of audiences,” according to Lavish Green’s online biography. “Whether it is on a huge stage fully blown, a high energy rock show or a more intimate unplugged setting, we bring an original approach to finding places to sing and play our hearts and souls out. With our fifth studio recording, we are proud to share more of our lives through music.
“If you open your eyes, ears and mind to Lavish Green, there is something for everyone.”
Doors to the show open at 9 p.m. and music is scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m.
Vinyl is situated inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Lake Tahoe, located at 50 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.
