Lakeview Loft will host a pair of acts with Lake Tahoe roots when the FNCTN Winter Music Series returns this week.

Strange Weather and Black Star Safari play the Stateline venue this Thursday, Feb. 18.

“Strange Weather headlines this February show with their unique blend of high-energy rock mixed with aggressive, driven rock and moodier melodic tones,” according to a press release for the show. “Former local duo, Black Star Safari, will open up the show with deep-set grooves and tenacious rhythms. Plus, Lakeview Loft’s Nevada location, allows a special guest DJ to keep the dance moves going late into the night (4 a.m.).”

Doors for the show open at 8 p.m., with music starting at 9 p.m. Admission will be $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Tahoe Hemp Company or online at http://mkt.com/fnctn.

More information is available from FNCTN on Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat.

“Just to give you a little taste, during the last show we had Strange Weather headline, lead singer Vinny Berry sang an entire song hanging upside down from the rafters,” said Mike Peron of FNCTN in the release. “Concertgoers are in for a treat! From the game room to the bands and the great people all around, it’s the perfect venue for a Tahoe FNCTN.”

Lakeview Loft is located at 148 U.S. Highway 50 in Stateline.
