West Shore-based family band The Roemers are set to perform at South Shore’s Whiskey Dick’s Saloon on Saturday, Feb. 25.
“They have mastered a variety of styles, covering favorites from classic rock to blues and funk to their own original songs.
“Joe Roemer and son Ryan share guitar duties, with nephew Matt on bass. The group rounds out with Michael McCullugh on drums and Beth Tschantre on vocal duties and congas,” states a press release from Late-Nite Productions.
In addition to recognizing the musicians from regular gigs at well-known Tahoe spots such as McP’s Taphouse Grill and Lakeside Inn and Casino, attendees might know Tschantre from her appearance in the final season of a prominent Fox television show.
“It’s not every day a local girl tries out for the musical talent show ‘American Idol,’ but Beth Tschantre has done just that,” continues the release.
The South Lake Tahoe native traveled to San Francisco and auditioned for the reality singing competition in January 2016.
Tschantre joins The Roemers for their South Shore performance, which is open to audiences over the age of 21.
Doors open at 9 p.m., and Tahoe Blue Vodka drink specials will be served throughout the evening.
Whiskey Dick’s Saloon is located at 2660 Lake Tahoe Blvd.
