Tim McGraw, Widespread Panic added to Harveys Tahoe Summer Concert Series
Country superstar Tim McGraw and jam masters Widespread Panic will take the stage at the Harveys Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena this summer.
Widespread Panic will play the South Shore Wednesday, July 6, and McGraw will perform at the venue Saturday, July 23. The latter show will coincide with the annual American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course.
“Tim McGraw has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and dominated the charts with 36 No. 1 singles,” according to a press release from Harveys. “He’s won three Grammy Awards, 16 Academy of Country Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards, 10 American Music Awards, three People’s Choice Awards and numerous other honors. His iconic career achievements include being named the BDS Most Played Artist of the Decade for all music genres, and having the Most Played Song of the Decade for all music genres with ‘Something Like That.’
“He is the most played Country artist since his debut in 1992, with two singles spending over 10 weeks at No. 1 (‘Live Like You Were Dying’ and ‘Over and Over’). The two-time Grammy-nominated ‘Meanwhile Back at Mama’s’ marked Tim’s 54th career Top Ten Hit off his latest album, Sundown Heaven Town. The project also produced the No. 1 ‘Shotgun Rider’ and single ‘Diamond Rings and Old Barstools’ featuring Tim’s cousin, Catherine Dunn.”
Tickets start at $89.50 plus fees and went on sale to the general public Friday, March 25, through http://www.apeconcerts.com and http://www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets are also available at all Ticketmaster outlets and by phone at 1-800-745-3000.
Presale for the Widespread Panic show began Thursday, March 31. Tickets are $49.50 plus fees and are also available through the above outlets.
