This just in — Paul Simon has been added to the 2017 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series lineup.

On Sunday, June 25, Simon will take the stage at Harveys Outdoor Arena in Stateline as part of his U.S. Summer tour, which was announced on the morning of Monday, March 13.

As one-half of the Simon & Garfunkel duo, the musician is known for songs such as “Bridge Over Troubled Water,” “The Sound of Silence” and “Mrs. Robinson.” Simon’s most recent solo release, “Stranger to Stranger,” dropped in April 2016.

“Full of thrilling, imaginative textures, ‘Stranger to Stranger’ conjures a vivid and vital new context to Simon’s well-established virtuosity as a singer and songwriter,” states the artist’s website.

Tickets for Simon’s June concert, which starts at 8 p.m., begin at $59.50, plus tax and fees. Purchases are conducted through Ticketmaster.

Additional details will be announced online via the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Facebook page on Thursday, March 16. To learn more about the musician, visit http://www.paulsimon.com.

Simon joins Rebelution, Jack Johnson, Train, Third Eye Blind, Sammy Hagar and Slightly Stoopid on the list of artists who will perform on Tahoe’s South Shore later this year.
