Sporting a “Keep Tahoe Blue” T-shirt, Jack Johnson took the stage Friday and Saturday for two sold out shows on Lake Tahoe’s South Shore.

Demand was so great for Johnson’s originally scheduled performance at the 2017 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series that the second show was added back in March.

In addition to being a renowned performer, Johnson is a noted environmentalist. Ahead of the two shows at Harveys Outdoor Arena, Johnson matched thousands of dollars in donations to local Tahoe nonprofits, including the League to Save Lake Tahoe.

The 2017 Lake Tahoe Summer Concert Series continues Aug. 4 with a show by Slightly Stoopid.
