Moondog Matinee, a locally based rock group, is set to perform a North Shore gig at Crystal Bay Casino on Saturday, March 3.

“Best described as ‘pseudo-sexual anarchy with an inkling of lustful innocence,’ Moondog Matinee is a band of wandering heathens from Reno, NV,” states the group’s online biography.

“With a Rock & Soul sound as derivative, yet undeniably authentic, the chaotic grace that exudes from their live performance will haunt you for years to come.”

The rock, blues and indie outfit is comprised of members Pete Barnato (vocals, keys), Adam Carpenter (bass), Steve Widmer and Drea Ballard (guitar), and Ben Ingle.

Moondog Matinee is in the midst of its March 2018 tour, which takes the band throughout the West Coast and Colorado.

The group’s Crystal Bay show begins at 10 p.m. and is free to attend for guests at least 21 years of age.

The venue is located at 14 NV 28. Additional information about the show can be found at http://www.crystalbaycasino.com.
