The Tahoe Dance Band invites everyone to a dance party to celebrate New Year’s Eve early from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Friday at the South Lake Tahoe Senior Center, 3050 Lake Tahoe Blvd.

Dressy attire is optional. There will be singing by the audience as well as by professional entertainers, and special decorations.

It is not necessary to come with a partner. There will be mixers to see that everyone has a chance to get up and dance and get acquainted.

The 17-piece band, the only one at Lake Tahoe, plays all kinds of music for dancing and listening pleasure. There are always men and women who come alone to find dance partners or to just enjoy listening to the music. Come with or without a partner and join us for a lot of fun.

Admission is $8 and includes appetizers, wine and desserts. Participants can win a free door prize and there will also be a raffle for prizes. For more information call Francine at (530) 541-8380 or Arline at (775) 588-6997.
