200 students to perform at band concert tonight

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – More than 200 students will perform from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the South Tahoe Middle School Multipurpose Room for the Lake Tahoe Unified School District’s “Bands In Concert.” The concert is free. Four concert bands from sixth to 12th grades will perform a variety of band music, from John Phillip Sousa classics to contemporary sounds. The symphonic bands from South Tahoe High School and South Tahoe Middle School will be presenting the pieces they will be performing in front of judges at their upcoming Anaheim Music Festivals.
