Try your hand at poker this week, as the 2017 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Circuit Tour stops at Harveys Lake Tahoe in Stateline Thursday, Oct. 26, through Sunday, Nov. 5.
Apart from the prize money, the winners of Tahoe’s main event also receive a spot at the WSOP Circuit National Championship.
“The WSOP Circuit Tour gives recreational and amateur poker players the opportunity to go all in on the WSOP experience at a lower price point (buy-ins start at $365) than the traditional WSOP in Las Vegas, but the tournament is no less prestigious or exciting,” states the Harveys Lake Tahoe website.
“The National Championship is televised on ESPN and has $1 million on the line for the winner, plus a famed WSOP gold bracelet.”
Events kick off at 11 a.m. on Thursday morning with No-Limit Hold’em and conclude on Sunday, Nov. 5, with Double Stack No-Limit Hold’em Turbo.
Harveys Lake Tahoe is also offering room specials throughout the course of the nearly two-week event (additional information is available via the venue’s website).
The casino is located at 15 U.S. 50 on Tahoe’s South Shore.
