If Halloween is one of your favorite holidays and you live for the thrill of dressing in costume and dancing with your friends, South Shore is the spot for you to be this weekend — there’s a handful of parties for you to choose from.

Start things off on Friday at 9 p.m. inside Vinyl at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The venue’s second annual Rockin’ Dead Halloween Bash features five hours of music and a costume contest, held at 1 a.m.

“The top four costumes win a share of $5,000 in cash and prizes,” states Hard Rock’s website.

“Costumes may not include masks, fake or real weapons, or makeup that would make a guest unidentifiable.”

Be ready to dance the night away with your friends, and kickstart your Hallo-weekend at this Stateline party, which comes to a close at 2 a.m. DJ Chris Payne will provide music for the evening.
