John Michael Beckwith, who was arrested in July for off-road driving at Heavenly Mountain Resort in the Boulder area, was sentenced this month to 90 days in jail and fined.

Beckwith, 21, pleaded guilty to misdemeanor trespassing with a motor vehicle. He was using his 1984 Toyota truck in a stream environmental zone when it became stuck. Beckwith then retrieved his 1996 Isuzu Rodeo to fish out his Toyota when he was approached by Heavenly officials.

Beckwith was ordered to pay Heavenly $6,366 in restitution fees for the damage.
