CELEBRATE IN STYLE

The 48th annual Tahoe Douglas Rotary’s St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe is Friday, March 11. Tickets cost $100 each and include a full Irish buffet dinner, wine bar and dancing. The event will run from 6-10 p.m.

According to a news release, special auction items will be highlighted at the celebration, including two front-section VIP tickets to every 2016 summer show at the Harvey’s Outdoor Concert Arena. Attendees may also bid on “celebrity treatment at the American Century Golf Championship at Edgewood Tahoe, which will include receiving the same gifts the celebrities receive.” The third large action item is a unique Sierra Tahoe ski package. Other auction options include trips, dinners and special items. Proceeds from the silent auction fund South Shore support projects, grants and scholarships.

Contact any Tahoe Douglas Rotarian for tickets or email spdc@tdrotary.com.

LIVE MUSIC AT LAKEVIEW LOFT

FNCTN returns Thursday, March 17, with a live performance by headliner Mark MacKay Band at Lakeview Loft. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the music will follow at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

“Mark MacKay has a true knack for getting the crowd moving with his mix of bluesy rock and country,” said Mike Peron of FNCTN in a news release. “He was recently voted as Top 100 Live Acts in 2015 by Music Connection Magazine and has a special place in his heart for Tahoe, so this will no doubt be a blast!”

Lake Tahoe’s West Shore band, The Roemers, will begin the evening. Then a DJ will keep the party going until 4 a.m.

According to a news release, “this will be the very last show at Lakeview Loft. March 18 the owners of the property will begin renovations to change the venue into a brand new restaurant called Sonney’s BBQ at Stateline; adding to the existing Sonney’s BBQ Shack on Hwy. 89.”

Buy tickets at Tahoe Hemp Company or online at http://www.mkt.com/FNCTN.
