Owners of “cool” cars, trucks and motorcycles began their annual tradition of showing off their vehicles for the summer Friday at Heavenly.

“I love this car show, we all enjoy coming here,” said South Shore resident Kent Robinson, whose 1962 Corvette was on display.

Twenty-four cars, including Mustangs, Corvettes and Chevrolets were displayed Friday.

The car show and cruise will take place every Friday until Oct. 14 at the Heavenly Gondola from 6-10 p.m. Organizers Tom and Polly Argo invite owners, visitors and car lovers to their car shows to support their nonprofit organization “Good Sam Safe Ride,” which promotes safe driving habits and offers free cab tickets to prevent drunk driving.
