Accident ties up traffic east of Cave Rock
Emergency crews are responding to a two-vehicle accident east of the Cave Rock tunnel this afternoon. Reports are the vehicles both have moderate damage. The accident happened in the eastbound lane.
Patients include a 44-year-old woman complaining of chest pains and a man, age unknown, with neck injuries. The emergency call came in at 4:28 p.m.
Travel through the area is running slow because of the accident. Chains or snowtires are required from Glenbrook to Carson City on Highway 50.
