RENO – On Saturday, Aces Ballpark will be the site of a very special Fourth of July celebration, which will include a festival, concert, autograph session, fireworks and more as the backdrop to a sold-out Reno Aces vs. Sacramento River Cats game at 7:05 p.m. that evening.

The fun begins at 3:30 p.m. on the plaza outside Aces Ballpark. Music, attractions for children and the Coors Light Beer Garden will highlight the afternoon.

At 4:30 p.m., Aces’ outfielder Trent Oeltjen and All-Star infielder Rusty Ryal will hold a pregame autograph session outside the gates.

The action continues at 5 p.m. on the plaza with a live concert by top-40 country artist Dean Brody.

At 7:05 p.m., the Aces take on the Pacific Coast Division-leading River Cats in the series opener and first-ever meeting between the two teams in Reno. Cesar Valdez, ranked a top-10 prospect in the Arizona Diamondbacks’ farm system, is scheduled to get the start on the mound for Reno.

After the game, the Aces will present their most exciting fireworks show of the season, followed by a chance for kids in attendance to run the bases.
