World Fighting Championships at Bally’s Lake Tahoe 

Doors will open at 7 p.m. for the World Fighting Championships 159 viewing in the Showroom at Bally’s Lake Tahoe Saturday, Aug. 5. 

The show will begin at 8 p.m. There is reserved seating. Tickets are being sold on ticketmaster.com starting at $30, with prices subject to change. 

Minors must be accompanied by adults 21-plus, and children under six will not be permitted.

Tahoe iMPRoV Comedy Players at Valhalla Tahoe

The Tahoe iMPRoV Comedy Players will be performing at the Boathouse Theater at Valhalla Tahoe at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8. 

The players are celebrating their 30th anniversary by returning to they roots, with each show starting with a comedy sportz matchup, which will make a portion of the show to be structured as it was in 1993. 

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $12 for children when purchased in advanced.

Jessica Malone Band at Valhalla Tahoe 

Jessica Malone will be performing at the Boathouse Theatre at Valhalla Tahoe at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9.

Tahoe Forest Stewardship Day 

Volunteers of all ages and skill levels are invited to participate in the Tahoe Forest Stewardship Day from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10 on the north shore. 

This hands-on restoration event will see volunteers remove invasive terrestrial plants that are taking over sensitive areas to help improve the ecosystem and wildlife habitats that surround Lake Tahoe.

Ron and Maureen Ashley Oasis Chamber Music Series

The Ron and Maureen Ashley Oasis Chamber Music series in Incline Village will be happening at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6. 

The Telemann: Musique de Table show brings together music, mountains, and the lake, and will be held on the exquisite lakefront estate of Ron and Maureen Ashley. 

This is apart of the Classical Tahoe series. Tickets are $130 per person.

Paws 2 Read at Incline Village Library

Practice reading with friendly therapy dogs at Incline Village Library with the Paws 2 Read program at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10. 

All ages are welcome to this event, where children will receive a free book after reading. 

This free program allows children to read to a friendly dog that lends a loving, non-judgmental ear to beginning cadres.
