Adult prom to benefit camp for children with diabetes

The second annual adult prom for the Nevada Diabetes Association will be held Friday at Horizon Casino Resort.

The prom’s theme is “One Love.” Proceeds from the event will benefit Camp Buck, a camp for kids ages 7-17 who are living with Type 1 diabetes. The event will include dancing, contests, photo booths and crowning of the prom king and queen.

The prom will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight in the ballroom in the convention center at Horizon. Tickets cost $50 each or $700 for a table of 10 people.
