Airport flights now surfable

Web surfers can now check the status of flights leaving or arriving at the Reno/Tahoe International Airport.

The Web site – www. renoairport.com – owned by the Airport Authority of Washoe County has recently been renovated with flight information, statistics and news updates for both the international airport and the Reno Stead Airport.

Updates on the National Championship Reno Air Races can also be found at the site.

Even airline and car rental reservations can even be made there online.

“Our new and improved Web site is easy to use, and offers many links to aviation related Web sites, including all of the airlines serving Reno/Tahoe International,” said Krys T. Bart, executive director of the airport authority. “More and more airports across the world are discovering that Web sites are popular tools for travel planning. Our Web site provides a user-friendly convenience not only for our local community, but also for our visitors.”
