Alfonso Padayhag

Alfonso M. Padayhag died June 30, 2005, at Barton Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.

He was born Feb. 18, 1926, at Honolulu, Hawaii, and was a 25-year resident of South Lake Tahoe. He was a porter and cleaning specialist at Harrah’s for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Virgilia of South Lake Tahoe; sons, Melchor and Efren Padayhag of South Lake Tahoe and Nicholas and Mark Anthony Padayhag of the Philippines; daughters, Emily and Alyssa Padayhag of South Lake Tahoe; and sisters, Romalda of Sacramento, Calif., and Seria of Hawaii.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. today and from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the McFarlane Mortuary Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Theresa Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Happy Homestead Cemetery.
