Alisha Main

Memorial services will take place New Year’s Day for Alisha Lynn Main, who died of injuries received in a snowboarding accident Dec. 27, 2004, at a South Shore ski resort. She was 13.

Alisha was born Feb. 3, 1991, at Paradise, Calif. She had been a resident of South Lake Tahoe for almost 10 years before moving to Carson City, Nev., last year. She attended South Tahoe Middle School as well as Carson Middle School, where she was an intelligent student and received good grades. She was a popular student and had lots of friends. Alisha was her own person and usually dressed in Gothic clothes and make-up. She was actively involved in several sports including baseball, track, soccer and snowboarding.

Survivors include her father, Alan Main of Carson City; mother, Crystal Sexton of Stateline, Nev.; sister, Shila Main of Carson City; and brother Izaiah Main of Carson City.

A celebration in memory of good times and Alisha’s truly unique spirit will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Calvary Chapel, 1744 Forest Way, Carson City, Nev.
