Amber Alert canceled: Suspect arrested in Susanville

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE – The Amber Alert for a missing 3-year-old Sacramento-area girl was canceled after the suspect was arrested in Susanville, according to police scanner traffic.

KTVN Channel 2 news is reporting that 27-year-old Leon Cuahutemoc was arrested in a Susanville restaurant parking lot. The unidentified woman, said to be abducted with the 3-year-child, was found safe.

KTVN is also reporting that officials have determined that the child was never taken.
